Okay, I'm not Irish but I am pretty lucky. At least I think so. I'm lucky because mommy finally decided to post my pictures from St. Patrick's Day. Yes it was last week, yes, I should have gotten them up sooner but it's hard for a baby to reach the keyboard without any help from mommy or daddy. And they have been very busy. So at last, here are my pictures. Tuesday, March 24, 2009

It's Girl Scout Cookie Time
As some of you may know, I'm a Girl Scout. Well, an honorary one; I'll be a real one when I get older. For now though, I go to meetings with my cousin, Keara. And, now we are selling Girl Scout cookies. Would you like to buy any?
I'd give you a taste of mine if you like. I really like the lemon ones; I had two last night with daddy. Today we went out to deliver cookies to all the nice people that placed orders with us earlier. Don't worry if you didn't, we've got plenty to go around. By selling cookies Keara gets to go to camp. Me, I don't want to go to camp yet. At least not until I can take mommy with me.
In other non-Girl Scout related news, I have given up my ba-ba. It was stealth on mommy and daddy's part. One night they didn't give me one as part of my night-night routine. I was so tired I didn't notice. So the next night they didn't give me one again. This went on for several nights... I don't think they're going to bring the ba-ba back. Strangely enough I don't miss it. Yes, I do still have my binkie. It's only for night-night but I think they know better than to try to take that from me right now. Leave the binkie alone and no one gets hurt. Trust me.
Anyway, I'm off to the grocery store with daddy-- we have to use our coupons before they expire! Talk to you later.

I've been very busy
I know, I know, it's mid-February and not a word from me this month... sorry. I've just been so busy being a baby. With all the wonderful things to explore, writing has taken a hit. Mommy and daddy put the batteries back in some of my toys so I've had to rediscover these oldies but goodies. And, did you know that mommy's bathroom drawer has all kinds of neat stuff in it like deodorant and combs. Stuff she really doesn't need but are great to play with.
At Miss Megan's house the other day I wore myself out playing so hard that I fell asleep at snack time. Here's a video of it. Mommy and daddy laughed and laughed. I personally didn't find it so funny. Let me know what you think. Talk to you later.

Teeth
Daddy went to Tampa for SuperBowl festivities so it's been me and mommy here at home. I'm trying to not wake her up too much but I'm a baby; what else can I say? When I do wake her up I make sure to sing her a happy song (usually twinkle, twinkle little star) and do lots of clapping to cheer her up... just to let her know she's doing a great job.
Mommy said that if it's warm enough we'll go to the park tomorrow, but only if I go to bed on time. Off I go, the swings are calling. Talk to you later.

Snow in Georgia
Yesterday while we were out running errands, I saw snow! It was beautiful; it floated in the air before it melted on my face. This wasn't my first snow. About this time last year it snowed. I don't remember it but mommy and daddy took me outside and took my picture in the snow. I was pretty young then so I don't remember much about it except that it was cold. Why is it that snow only comes when it's cold? I think it should come when it's warmer so you can really enjoy it. Wouldn't it be nice to sit outside in your bathing suit, feel the sun on your back and the whisper of snow on your face? I think so but that's only one baby's opinion.
Today we had sleet, not nearly as nice as snow; mommy and daddy had the good sense to stay indoors all day today. Even though it was yucky outside, we had a wonderful lazy day... slept late, had waffles, played music and danced, took a nap, had snacks, watched football, all the good stuff. Now, we're getting ready to have dinner. Daddy is reheating gumbo mommy made and also is making rice, my favorite. Talk to you later.

Grandmama's visiting
Friday, she got here just in time to keep me from having to go to bed at a marginally decent time. Daddy had been working with me on going to sleep but once she came in the door, I couldn't just go to sleep and let my new-found audience down. I knew she flew all the way here for me to entertain her... and that was exactly what I was going to do.
We went to the museum on Saturday to see the exhibit of the Chinese clay soldiers. They said they were made of clay but they looked pretty real to me. Too bad I couldn't touch them to check. There were a lot of people at the museum so I couldn't take my afternoon nap like mommy and daddy were hoping I would; too much to see, too many people to entertain.
Today, I went to Miss Megan's and played with Sarah while mommy and grandmama had a day together. Hopefully they had a good time without me there to entertain them and keep them on their toes. As much as I'd have loved to spend the day with them, I had to entertain Sarah and Miss Megan today; mommy and grandmama will have their turn for the Ryanne Show tomorrow. After they picked me up and daddy got home we went to dinner and then I had my bath.
Baths always make me sleepy. Shh, that's my secret. If mommy and daddy figure out that's all it takes to get me sleepy, I might end up having a bath everynight... and no baby wants that!
I'm off to bed, looking forward to a wonderful day tomorrow. Talk to you later.
