Our weekend away
This past weekend we went to Chattanooga for a few days of rest and relaxation. It was so much fun. I didn't know there were so many fun things to do away from home. I had a blast at the Creative Discovery Museum. There, they had a little playhouse with things just my size. There was a slide, a train, a stove and refrigerator, a theater, even food that tasted like plastic! If the bubble pit hadn't called to me, I could have stayed in there the whole day.
They also had a library complete with a reader that let me sit in her lap for a story. After, we went up to the rooftop play area and played in more bubbles and on a swing (from previous posts you know those are my favorite.)
We also went to Coolidge Park and I got to ride the carousel with daddy. It was so fun. The carousel had many pretty animals that you could ride. I chose the bunny. Daddy had to hang on to me tight until I got the hang of it. Mommy was on the sidelines taking pictures... her motion sickness, so she said.
We played in the fountain with the other children. Although I still don't like getting my hair or my face washed, I enjoyed splashing in the fountain... so much so that we went back the next day to splash again.
It was a lovely weekend. Here are the pictures of me having a great time. Talk to you later.Saturday, April 18, 2009

Easter Egg Hunt
Today we went to the Easter egg hunt in downtown Decatur. I'd never been to an egg hunt before but from what I could tell the concept was very simple: nice people throw eggs all over the grass, a bunny arrives for you have your picture taken with them, a horn sounds, and working with other people your size, you try to gather as many eggs as you can fit into your basket. Oh, yes, all the while posing for pictures.
The eggs weren't really eggs! They were candy... very tasty. Daddy let me eat a red one after the hunt was over. Funny, for all the build up, the whole hunt only took about 3 minutes, maybe less. Regardless, it was a wonderful outing for a baby and her parents. Here are the pictures of us having a wonderful

Luck of the Irish
Okay, I'm not Irish but I am pretty lucky. At least I think so. I'm lucky because mommy finally decided to post my pictures from St. Patrick's Day. Yes it was last week, yes, I should have gotten them up sooner but it's hard for a baby to reach the keyboard without any help from mommy or daddy. And they have been very busy. So at last, here are my pictures.
