My Garden

Hi! First, sorry I missed all of May. It was a really busy month and mommy didn't lift me up to the keyboard. Second, I'll try to do better over the summer posting my adventures for you, my loyal readers. Third, how's your summer going so far? Mine's fabulous so far.... as you'll see in my all May posting.

But before we get to that, I wanted to show you my garden. Mommy let me pick what we would plant this year... and got me to help quite a bit more than I've helped in previous years... something about being a big girl now, she said.

Anyway, we planted radishes, carrots, cauliflower, and lots of flowers. So far only my radishes have gotten big enough to harvest but I've had a wonderful time visiting my garden every day and offering words of encouragement to my carrots and cauliflower. I know they're listening. Just the other day, I think I saw a carrot trying to get bigger. Hope your garden is growing well. Talk to you later.

Gardening is hard work. Tilling the soil takes time and lots of baby strength.

From time to time I had to get the dirt out of my shoes. I probably should have worn the shoes mommy suggested.

I was very excited when my plants started to grow from the seeds.

Strawberry Picking

 My Grandma and Kathy came to visit over the weekend and we went strawberry picking. Mommy found a farm in Watkinsville, GA that would allow you to head out into the rows to pick and eat as many berries as you wanted... for a small fee. Besides having the best time ever with my family, I think I ate as many berries as I brought home. Here are some pictures from our day. Talk to you later.

Hoppy Easter!

Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend with your friends and family. I did!

The Easter bunny came to my house while we were at church and left me presents... DVDs, candy, and best of all, a Sleeping Beauty dress up outfit.

We had to get going very early Easter morning because mommy was playing in both services and daddy was greeting in between services so I was tired and took a nap before my cousins came over.

When they got here, we had an Easter egg hunt in the back yard with the eggs that mommy and I dyed and many that were filled with candy.


After a tasty dinner, we had strawberries for dessert. But not before mommy made me change out of my dress.

Speaking of my dress, didn't I look like a ballerina in it? It was so pink and pretty. And, I picked it myself at the store. I tried my hardest to convince mommy that I should also wear it to school the next day but she wouldn't agree. I don't understand why.

I also got a chocolate bunny in my Easter basket that looked like Peter Rabbit. He was very tasty. Mommy will only let me have a small piece of him each day. She said that would make Easter last longer and I'm all for that! Talk to you later.

Tea Party Play Date

I hosted a tea party play date with my friends from school. It was so much fun.

We were decked out in princess wear, enjoyed cupcakes, combed my doll's hair, and played in my room. We really had a great time and I can't wait to do it again.

Christmas 2011

Santa came... and brought me great gifts! He brought me a Word Girl DVD, an Ariel dress-up, and an Ariel doll. He also brought me a bed and stroller for my baby. There were so many great things, I didn't try to pick a favorite. But, best of all, my grandma came to visit ... woo-hoo! We had a super time together reading, playing, shopping, and hanging out. We even went and made ornaments at the ceramic shop.

She left this morning and I'm pretty sad about it. Hopefully she'll come back to visit soon. Here are some pictures from our time together.
