The Easter Bunny Came

... and went. Mommy has been too busy to get me close to the computer so I'm just getting to post my Easter musings. Sorry.

It was lovely day, bright and sunny; just the kind of day you'd want for such a celebration. The singing at church was wonderful. The choir was great and allowed me to join in when they sang the Hallelujah chorus. Mommy and I sang it together.

After church I took a nap, then put on my cute outfit from my great-aunt Quinn and went outside to play. We blew bubbles in the front yard and planted the flower boxes, then we went to wash daddy's car. After that, we enjoyed a tasty dinner of ham, macaroni & cheese, and all the trimmings.
We had a great day. Hope you did too. Talk to you later.

Easter Egg Hunt

Today we went to the Easter egg hunt in downtown Decatur. I'd never been to an egg hunt before but from what I could tell the concept was very simple: nice people throw eggs all over the grass, a bunny arrives for you have your picture taken with them, a horn sounds, and working with other people your size, you try to gather as many eggs as you can fit into your basket.
Oh, yes, all the while posing for pictures. Sounds simple doesn't it?

The eggs weren't really eggs! They were candy... very tasty. Daddy let me eat a red one after the hunt was over. Funny, for all the build up, the whole hunt only took about 3 minutes, maybe less. Regardless, it was a wonderful outing for a baby and her parents. Here are the pictures of us having a wonderful time. Enjoy. Talk to you later.

(I practiced sharing with other people my size who had forgotten their basket at home)

(I'm ready to go... can we go now mommy?)
