Bring on the Eggs!

Today we went to the Tucker Easter Egg Hunt at Cofer Park. This was my second hunt ever... for those of you that remember, I did this last year at a different park and had my picture taken with the Easter bunny. Well, I'm still great at hunting eggs; I just don't like the bunny.
Nothing against large-headed rabbits but this one just wasn't one of my favorites. I made sure to voice my displeasure (LOUDLY) every time he went by.
Besides the bunny, the egg hunt was fabulous. I got to see a fire truck and sit in an ambulance... I ran and played and met lots of other babies... oh, I got lots of eggs too and everyone commented on my super-cute headgear. Here are some pictures. Hope you like them. Talk to you later.

Aloha!

Aloha (that means hello in Hawaiian) to you! We just got back from Hawaii today. We were visiting my Uncle Iyorliam, Auntie Sherry, and my cousins Terungwa and Sesugh. It was a wonderful trip. We had fun everyday playing on the beach, playing on the playground, playing in our hotel room, playing, playing, and more playing.

Here we are playing at the playground by the beach. We went to this playground many times during the week. Even though I met lots of other kids, playing with my cousins was the best.

We took this picture one night while we were out to dinner in downtown Waikiki... believe it or not, it's the only picture of us as group that we took! I enjoyed a HUGE bowl of wonton soup. Besides french fries, wonton soup is now my new favorite food. And yes, after dinner we went right back to the playground.

On Thursday night we went to a luau! For those of you that don't know... a luau is a huge party where guys breathe fire and pretty girls wearing coconut costumes do lots of really fast dancing... some even danced with fire. It was great to watch. I am still practicing my hula moves.

We also spent lots of time at the beach...

I'm glad to be home but I miss my cousins. I can't wait to see them again soon. Here are some other pictures from our time in Hawaii. Talk to you later.

Happy New Year!

Happy new year! Since this is my first post for 2010, it technically is still a New Year's celebration.

2010 is really shaping up to be a super busy year. I've had so much going on it's hard to know where to start filling in; I figure the best place is to start at the beginning. After Christmas my grandma came to visit. We had a wonderful time and she let me do her hair! I love doing hair, particularly grandma's hair because she let me put in tons of hair bows and ribbons.

After she left I got a cold; I think it's because I missed her so. And since babies can't keep anything to themselves, I shared it with mommy and daddy. Then, daddy picked up a bug (not a real bug bug, but a sick bug), probably at work and got really sick. He had to go to the hospital for many days. I missed him and asked about him every night. It wasn't all bad while he was in the hospital because I got to stay with my Auntie Tara. I had a wonderful time at her house and got to watch Dora and dance and play with my cousins. She also let me have Fruit Loops for breakfast.

After daddy came back home, my kitty, Cleo, went to heaven to be with God. I hear she's having a good time but I'd rather that she came home. I miss her and Pouncer misses her too... lots. I pet him more to make up for not having Cleo here but I don't think he likes it much.

Then, my friends Kayla and Amber both had birthday parties and of course I had to go to those. I love a good party with ice cream, good friends, and lots of happy cake. And, I've been having a blast cooking in my kitchen that my friend Rosemary sent me. Oh, yeah, we're going to see my Uncle Iyorliam and Auntie Sherry in a couple of weeks... All in all a very busy year so far! Here are some new pictures for you to enjoy. Talk to you later.

My grandma makes a great hair model. She sat very still and let me work my magic.

These pictures are from Amber's birthday party. I had lots of fun going down the big slide again and again and again. My friend, Miss Megan, was also there to help me get happy cake off my face.

I really love my new kitchen. Check out all the cool stuff that came with it. Really snazzy!

Grandma, here's the front and back of my new hairdo that mommy was working on when you called.

Merry Christmas

Wow! What a wonderful holiday! I usually refrain from using exclamation points in my writing but this time they are well deserved. It was such a beautiful, great, amazing, fantastic day that it deserved two exclamations right out of the gate.

I had a visit from Santa and he left me lots and lots of goodies. My baby doll got a stroller but I got a princess dress, princess t-shirt, princess stickers, and a princess book. Lest you think a theme has developed, I also got a vacuum cleaner. It was my absolute favorite. It makes noise just like the one mommy and daddy use and it's all mine, mine, mine.

I was so excited with all the presents, I couldn't take a nap. So I was good and wired when my cousins and auntie came over. We had such a great time laughing and playing. They just left, not too long ago. I'm headed to bed but wanted to show you pictures of us having a lovely time together. Hope you had a Merry Christmas! Talk to you later.

Christmas Picture 2009

This year's Christmas picture photo shoot was much easier than last years. Mommy was able to get the picture in less than 10 minutes. That left me more time to play with baby Jesus in the Nativity scene.
Christmas is a very busy time of the year for babies. With all the baking, singing, decorating, and such, there's little time to get to the computer. Sorry. But, to make up for not posting much this month, here are some other pictures of me playing and from the Christmas festival at Stone Mountain Park. Hope you are having a wonderful Advent season. Talk to you later.
